Cypress Gardens is a beautiful garden that offers many things for a very good price. My husband’s favorite part of this location is that part of The Notebook was filmed here. My favorite part is the butterfly garden and the beautiful assortment of plants. My son’s favorite parts are the massive amount of alligators and the aquarium.

The walking trails take you through many paths. We followed a path “less traveled” leading us to an overgrown path where we see many critters including a snake.

The butterfly gardens were filled with more butterflies than I could count. It was absolutely magnificent to be surrounded by so many butterflies, and stunning flowers.

Cypress Garden

The boats have to be one of the best excursions offered here. It is free with the admission price. I would recommend bringing more people so everyone can take a turn paddling the boat. This was the most tiring part for me, thankfully my husband did not mind pushing us.

The views here are breathtaking.
