Being on a budget is hard. I know this because I have been there. Being the type of person who would swipe my credit card every time I thought about it took a toll on my bank account. Then, one day, I woke up and realized that if I did not start saving money for the future, I would be living in a cardboard box by the time I was 40.

I do fairly well with keeping a budget. I’ve been teaching my son that I must pay the bills prior to spending money on other things. I do this because I want him to have a good concept of saving money and not blowing rent money on something he doesn’t need.
