We went to the Magnolia Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. This is the best plantation in Charleston. The price we paid for our roundtrip transportation was worth it. The tickets purchased offered us free admission to come back within 7 days. Without a doubt you will want to use this 7 days pass to go back for free.

At this time the Magnolia Plantation is one of the most beautiful gardens you will ever see! Our first stop was the petting zoo. The kids were able to feed, play with, and pet animals that don’t usually inhabit the area. My son’s favorite part was getting licked by a deer! The neat thing about the petting zoo was its assortment of animals: deer, tortoises, birds, snakes, and alligators. The deer were able to hop over the fence and walk around in the open space with us. It was impressive to see how well-maintained the whole place was—even within 30 minutes of our arrival.

This plantation has been selected as “America’s Most Beautiful Gardens”. Clearly, I would have to agree with that seeing it in person. The best plantation in Charleston is The Magnolia Plantation. The assortment of flowers, plants, and different garden sections causes this to be an all-day affair.

Prepare to walk! Wear athletic wear, bring water and bug spray! We had mosquitoes join us on our adventure! Besides the mosquitoes, we enjoyed our time there!

Obviously, it was breathtaking! The staff was on hand at all times to maintain the grounds, and they did an amazing job keeping everything looking beautiful. Clearly, we are huge fans of the Magnolia plantation.

Clearly, the Magnolia Plantation is a must-see place if you are planning a trip to Charleston. We would have never seen anything like it. Other than the beauty of the grounds there were also plenty of activities to do while on the plantation. Above all, I would recommend this as a visit you should go to if you are visiting Charleston.

In addition, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful nature walk, with an amazing diversity of the most gorgeous flowers and trees that I have ever seen. I believe that we did minimize our time exploring this place. There is so much to see and do. You could spend hours walking around and beautifully landscaped grounds. Lastly, this place will leave lasting beautiful memories to always look back on.
